Bohemia 15/3/1862 reported that ‘Mr Remenyi, known to us not only as an excellent virtuoso but also as a very interesting personality, will be arranging his own concert on Tuesday evening in the Konvikt Hall.’ Brief details of this event next appeared in Bohemia 18/3/1862 which reported that Mr Remenyi will perform in his concert today (at 5pm in the evening in the Konvikt Hall), the E minor Concerto by Mendelssohn, Hungarian and Czech folktunes and Sebastian Bach’s Ciaccona for the violin.’

Detailed reviews of this concert appeared in Prager Morgenpost 19/3/1862, Bohemia 19/3/1862 and in Prager Zeitung 21/3/1862. The Prager Morgenpost review mistakenly attributed the song An den Sonnenschein to Mendelssohn.
