News of this event was published by Národní listy 21/12/1862 noting: ‘Second musical song and declamatory soirée [hudební zpěvní a deklamatorní věneček] takes place today at 6pm in the inn „u zlatého anděla [At the Golden Angel]“ in Smíchov in aid of [the] „Občanské knihovny [Public library]“. The programme was then listed in projected performance order. The source then related that the ‘Musical part will be performed by the Prague Sharpshooters ensemble directed by kapelník [Kapellmeister] Frt. Horák. Outdated green tickets are not valid today. In the next too entertainments on 28th and 31st December there will be special solo song presentations.’ The database event record lists the programme as specified by this source.
