An advertisement was published by Mercy’s Anzeiger 28/10/1854 announcing: ‘Sunday 29th October, as well as following Sundays and Festival Days the Musical ensemble of the Royal 24th Field Rifles Battalion will perform several felicitous music pieces in the Hall of the Restaurant-building in the Royal Bohemian Estates Arboretum. Commencing at 3pm.’ This advertisement was repeated in the following day’s issue of Mercy’s Anzeiger.

The Vergnügungsanzeiger of Mercy’s Anzeiger 12/11/1854 reported ‘Today Sunday: In the Royal Estates Arboretum-Hall Music’. No further details were given by this source. The database event record adopts the participating ensemble as the 24th Field Rifles Battalion as in the original advertisment, although the Vergnügungsanzeiger entry did not specify the participating ensemble.
