Advance news of this event was published by Der Tagesbote 28/9/1854. A report noted that the dance teacher Mr Feigert arranges on Monday 2nd October for the Festival of the Church-consecration [Feier der Kirchweihe], a festival reunion in the Konvikt Hall.’ This would include a pantomine given by Feigert entitled Wenzel, wieder ein Wenzel und noch ein Wenzel. The musical content of the programme was not specified by the source but possibly included popular dances. The announcement concluded with the note that from 1st October Mr Feigert would be giving dance lessons. A similar report was published by Mercy’s Anzeiger 28/9/1854, announcing that ‘On Monday (2nd October) Mr Friedrich Feigert, who is back from his travels and whose achievements have attracted significant acclaim, is arranging in the Konvikt Hall for the Church Festival [Kirchweihfest] a festival reunion. During the interval the aforementioned will perform with his pupils a comic pantomine under the title „Wenzel, noch ein Wenzel and wieder ein Wenzel!“ The pantomine ends with a new Mazur in costme. From the 1st October, we hear, dance practise begins at Mr Feigert’s’.
