Prager Morgenpost 13/3/1862 reported ‘Musical soirée. On 16th March at 5pm Mr Ign. Jelínek with his pupils arranges a musical soirée, at which amongst other works there will be performed a Trio by Beethoven, the Septet by Beethoven arranged for 4 hands, an Overture for 8 hands by Tomaschek [Tomášek], and solo pieces by Veit, Graf, Chopin, Pivoda etc.’ No further details were given by this source. The venue for this event would have been the institute of Jelínek.
