Kommentar:

The brief Dalibor 20/11/1860 review noted that the church was full with students, presumably of the nearby University where Mácha taught. The correspondent reported that the Requiem was ‘piously performed’ by students. However, the participating musicians would almost certainly have included too incumbent singers of the church’s own choir.
