The German-language Prague newspaper Prager Morgenpost first published notice of this concert in its issue dated 22/12/1863. The report related: ‘Concert. On 27th December the piano virtuoso Mr Treiber gives a concert in the Konvikt Hall. Full details of the programme will be forthcoming.’

The Tagesprogramme daily almanac of social events published by Bohemia 27/12/1863 announced: ‘12 o’clock in the Konvikt Hall: Concert Treiber.’ Similarly, the Tagesanzeiger almanac of Prager Morgenpost 27/12/1863 noted: ‘12 noon Concert of pianist Treiber.’

The programme to the concert was published by Bohemia 27/12/1863: ‘(The Concert of Mr Treiber), which takes place today at 12 o’clock in the Konvikt Hall, has the following programme: 1) Gr[and] Concert (E minor) for piano by Fr. Chopin, op.11 with accompaniment of 4 violins, 2 violas, ’cello and bass. a. Allegro maestoso, b. Romanze, c. Rondo, performed by the concert-giver. 2) Lieder performance by Miss Zawiszanka. 3) „Neue Liebe, neue Leben“, Lied by Beethoven, performed by Mr Franke. 4) a. Fugue (A minor) by Seb. Bach b. Romanze (F-sharp major) by R. Schumann, op.28 c. Caprice (La Polka de la Reine) by J. Raff, for piano, performed by the concert-giver. 5) Song performances by Mis Zawiszanka. 6) a. „Flieg’ Vogel fliege“, Norwegian folksong by Willmers b. Entrance of the Guests to the Wartburg from R. Wagner’s „Tannhäuser“ for piano by F. Liszt, performed by the concert-giver.’
