News of this event was published by Prager Morgenpost 4/11/1863, in a brief report noting that on Thursday 5th November a solemn service for Mr P.A. Klar [Klár] would take place on 5th November in the St Rafael Church of the Institute for the Accommodation and Employment of Adult Blind, in which blind members of the Institute would perform the Requiem in F major by [Robert] Führer. No further details were given by this issue of Prager Morgenpost. This particular Requiem was often sung on ceremonial occasions by the members of the Institute.

The daily almanac of Prague social and musical events that was published by Prager Morgenpost 5/11/1863 noted: ‘Daily almanac for today... Requiem for the late Mr Paul Aloys Klar [Klár] in the Raphael Church of the Blinds’ Accommodation and Employment Institute.’
