Bauš, František (1838-1860). Czech violinist. Violinist pupil at the Prague Conservatory, 1852-1858. After graduating he remained in Prague and during his brief career was lauded as a violinist of the highest order. He was jointly responsible for the foundation in 1860 of the string quartet of Julius Goltermann, the annual concerts that were given by this ensemble becoming a highlight of the Prague concert season.
