Mercy’s Anzeiger 6/1/1855 reported that ‘On the festival of the Three Kings [Epiphany] (on 6th January) takes place in the Hall of the Žofín Island the musical rehearsal for the Ball arranged by Mr Ott von Ottenkron for the benefit of the Hradčany Blind Institute taking place on 4th February.’ The Hradčany Institute for the Blind undoubtedly referred to the Prague Seminary Institute for the Blind which was located in the Strahov area of Hradčany.
