Two advertisements were published by Prager Morgenpost 21/11/1858 announcing dance entertainments given in the Konvikt Hall on that day. One simpy stated ‘Convict-Hall. Today for the Preliminary Celebration of the Katharina-Festival a public Ball. Entry at 6pm. End the following morning.’ The other text appeared as a postscript to an advertisement posted by the dance-master Feigert announcing a dance event at that venue on 24 November. It noted only that the event was a ‘Soirée dansante’ and would take place in the newly decorated dance-salon of the Konvikt. Almost certainly the two advertisements related to the same event, this also being the one noted in the Bohemia Tageskalender of 21/11/1858 specifying the participation of the ensemble of the Infantry Regiment of Baron Wernhardt.
