The Vergnügungsanzeiger of Mercy’s Anzeiger 4/2/1857 announced that ‘Today Wednesday... Mozart’s Cellar: Turek’s Sextet.’ An advertisement had appeared in this newspaper on 21st and 28th January and 3rd February relating: ‘Mozart’s Cellar [Mozartskeller]. Each Wednesday the favourite Turek’s Sextet.’ The text then noted that each morning the venue served ‘good early suppers, inexpensive breakfasts, good... Petrowitz Over- and Tschary’s [Šáry] Under-yeast beer [Ober- und... Unterhefenbier], and also good wine’. No further details were given by these sources.
