Mercy’s Anzeiger 25/1/1857 published a large advertisement for this ‘Dance-reunion’ in the ‘elegantly decorated Apollo Hall’. The event was to commence at 8pm and advance tickets for gentlemen were available from the dwelling of the dance master Tolde at Karlín Nr.17, from the coffee houses of Danzer, Lorenz, Lederer. Kačerovský, at the Red Eagle, from the New and the Old Town Café-salon and from the billiard room at the Apollo [Hall] for 30kr. They could also be purchased for 40kr on the evening of the 21st from the venue’s box office. The advertisement was repeated in the newspaper on 26/1/1857 and on 27/1/1857.

The Vergnügungsanzeiger of Mercy’s Anzeiger 27/1/1857 announced ‘Today Tuesday... Apollo Hall: Tolde’s Reunion.’ No further details were given by this source.

Mercy’s Anzeiger 30/1/1857 published a report that ‘The Ball arranged in the Apollo Hall on 27th January for the benefit of the Emperor Franz Josef- and Elisabeth-Fund for innocent poor Master-tailors had a profit of 1100fl.’ Attending the event was His Excellency the Governor Baron von Wecséry and His Excellency the Royal Field-Marshal and Commandant in Bohemia Count Clam-Gallas. This event was almost certainly that arranged by Tolde at this venue on 27th January.
