komentář:

Der Tagesbote 28/7/1854 noted for the benefit of ‘friends of church music’ this event, its date time and venue, that participating would be ‘many local musical notabilities and ... compositions of the meritorious choir director Mr Sigmund Kolleschowsky [Kolešovský].’ The works to be performed were then listed and the report concluded with the observation that given the well-known prudency of the direction [of Kolešovský] the occasion promises to be very successful.’

The Czech-language periodical Lumír 29/7/1854 published a report that
the ‘Day after tomorrow (on Monday) will be in the Church at St Ignac in Charles Square about 11am a performance of the new Festival Mass in D major by Mr Sigmund Kolešovský, director of church music at St Stephan, also a Graduale in A major by that same composer and Offertorium in D major by Mozart. Particularly agreeable will be the participation of many local musical luminaries. So we can certainly expect that the performance directed by Mr Kolešovský will be very successful and interesting.’

Bohemia 30/7/1854 reported that ‘Tomorrow at 11 o’clock, chorus director Mr Sigm. Kolleschowsky [Kolešovský] in the St Ignatius church on the Charles Square [Karlovo náměstí] offers for performance his newest Mass in D major and an Offertorium by Mozart.’
