An advertisement was published in Bohemia 14/7/1850 announcing that on 15th July and regularly on successive Thursdays a dance-reunion would take place ‘im Freundschaftssaale (ehemals Kuhstall) [in the Friendship Hall (formerly the Cowshed)]’. Performing ‘the newest and most beautiful pieces’ would be the orchestra of J. Wallesch [Walesch] under his own leadership.
