The Tagesbote 09/10/1858 advertisement noted the date and venue of the event, and relayed that the Scottish Bell-players [Schottischen Glockenspieler] comprised seven individuals dressed in national costume and led by Herr Sawyer. Unlike the newspaper’s advertisements for the previous two concerts given by the ensemble, no details were given of the works they were to perform. The Bohemia 09/10/1858 advertisement also included details of the programme, and noted that the event commenced at 4pm and was to end at 6pm.
