News of this event appeared in a notice published by Bohemia 1/1/1860 stating that ‘The 7th Battalion of the Prague Civil Guard [7. Bat. der Nat. Garde Prags] are staging on 7th January 1850 a Reunion in the Konvikt Hall, for which entrance cards [i.e. admission tickets] can be obtained from Captain Le Gros, Kreuzherrngasse, Pachta’s house nr. 86-1, daily between 12 noon and 3pm.’ The notice was published again by Bohemia 4/1/1850.

The Tagesanzeiger text published in Bohemia 6/1/1850 reported the title, date and venue of this event [Reunion des 7. Nat.-Gardebataillons], noting too that it was to take place in the evening.
