Prager Morgenpost 6/1/1860 contained an advertisement stating that ‘On 6th January at 4pm takes place in the Hall of the Žofín Island the musical trial for the Society-Ball [Gesellschafts-Ball] on 18th January 1860’. The advertisment was posted by ‘Max Gòrski, Tanzlehrer’. The Tageskalender published by Bohemia 6/1/1860 noted that at 4pm in the Žofín Hall would be the musical trial for Gorsky’s Ball, with music given by the Civil Sharpshooters regiment.
