The Prager Morgenpost 15/1/1859 report related that three dance entertainments were to be given at the Měšťanská beseda [Civic Society] for its members on 18/1/1859, 8/2/1859 and 1/3/1859. However, the second of these performances did not take place on the original date, Morgenpost 2/2/1859 reporting that the date of the second of these productions had been altered to 15/2/1859. This may have been due to the scheduling of the Annual General Meeting of the Society on 6/2/1859, although an advertisement published in both Czech and German by the Society also in Morgenpost 2/2/1859 did report that the change was due to unforseen circumstances. This advertisement noted that the final entertainment would take place on 1/3/1859 and that a musical rehearsal [for the dance entertainment] would be given in the beseda on 3/2/1859 at 7pm.
