Tagesbote aus Böhmen 7/5/1857 reported that yesterday at 9am the Emperor Ferdinand attended a Mass in the parish church of St Francis and honoured the Grandmaster of the Order of the Knights of the Cross, Dr J. Beer with his visit [to the occasion. The St Francis Church was the Prague base of that Knightly Order]. No details were related of the musical content of the occasion.
