The Tageskalendar daily almanac of Prague social events published by Bohemia 5/5/1857 noted: ‘Tuesday 5th May... on the Žofín Island (Wernhardt-ensemble).’ This performance almost certainly took place later in the afternoon as at 12 noon a public concert was taking place in Žofín Island Hall.
