A lengthy advertisement for this multifarious event was published by Prager Morgenpost 7/6/1863: ‘Island Gross-Venedig [Štvanice] (formerly Hetz-Island). Today Merrymaking-Festival [Belustigungs-Fest] with participation of the 2 Orchestras of the Regimental Ensemble of the worthy Royal Infantry Regiment Count Gyulai under personal direction of the Kapellmeister Mr Strebinger and the Singing-Society Wolf. At 6.30pm: The Flying Man, alternating astonishing aesrostatic displays in conjunction with a comic Couplet [einem komischen Kouplet], performed by the Singing-Society Wolf. In the Upper Hall Dance Reunion [Tanz-Reunion] commencing 4pm.’ Of the various sizes and types of lettering used in the advertisement, the most striking parts of the text designed to catch the eye of the reader were ‘2 Orchester’, ‘Wolf’ and ‘Tanz-Reunion’.
