Lumír 15/1/1863 reported that a Requiem for Božena Němcova will be on 21st January in the Church of St Peter and Paul on Vyšehrad; Canon Vinařický will read the solemn mass. Many of our womenfolk will certainly on that day visit Vyšehrad, where Němcová rests.’

Národní listy 20/1/1863 reported in its section of daily news that a Requiem mass for the late Božena Němcová was to be given on Wednesday 21st January as in previous years on the anniversary of her death.
