Národní listy 22/10/1862 published a notice announcing: ‘National besedas [Národní besedy] 23rd and 30th October, 5th, 12th, 20th and 27th November 1862 all at 7.30[pm]. Admission tickets for gentlemen obtained in the national bookshop of Mr Petřík in the New Alley [Nový Alej] nr 117-II. [Signed] Committee.’ On 27/11/1862 the newspaper published a report signed ‘- m.’ in its section of home news that the ‘Sixth and last autumn beseda takes place today at 7.30pm in the Konvikt Hall. Programme is as follows: I. Part: 1. Chorus. 2. Solo on violin, played by Mr Tomášek, member of the Czech Theatre. 3. Song, sung by Mrs Procházková, member of the Czech Theatre. 4. Declamation, performed by Mrs Eliška Pešková, member of the Czech Theatre. 5. Chorus. In the second part dancing. New Czech salon dance „Beseda“ will be dance, this time without a limit on the number of couples.’
