Švarc, Jakub (1835-1914). Czech baritone singer appearing frequently in concerts and other musical events in Prague during the 1850s and early 1860s. Prager Morgenpost 25/8/1863 reported that ‘Mr Schwarz, member of the Czech Provisional Theatre has received a lucrative offer from the German Opera in New York.’
