News was published by Mercy’s Anzeiger 23/12/1854 that among the festival balls for the 1855 Carnival season whose profits were destined for good causes, would bethe Ball for the Benefit of the reorganized Institute for the Poor. This would take place in the Hall of the Žofín Island on 18th February, with the musical rehearsal taking place on 2nd Fenruary.
