An advertisement published in Mercy’s Anzeiger 6/10/1854 drew attention to the performance on Sundays at this venue of Březovský’s Sextet. The source announced: ‘In the newly renovated Cafe of Jan Bureš [Kaffee des Johann Buresch], in Dominikánské ulici, plays on Friday from 4pm until midnight the excellent Sextet of Mr Černý, and on Sunday also until midnight the no-less splendid Sextet of Mr Březovský.’ Most likely the ensemble continued performing at this venue throughout the rest of the season on this day of the week.
