Buresch’s Coffee house. Prague coffee house and venue for occasional social musical entertainments. Located in Dominikánská ulice. The venue was notable in positively appealing to both German- and Czech-speaking sections of the Prague community, being among the first of such venues to advertise simultaneously in both languages. On 6/10/1854 an advertisement appeared in Mercy’s Anzeiger mirrored in Czech and in German. The venue also specifically identified in this advertisement the chamber ensembles providing musical entertainment.
