An advertisement published in Mercy’s Anzeiger 6/10/1854 drew attention to the performance on Sundays at this venue of Březovský’s Sextet. The source announced: ‘In the newly renovated Cafe of Jan Bureš [Kaffee des Johann Buresch], in Dominikánské ulici, plays on Friday from 4pm until midnight the excellent Sextet of Mr Černý, and on Sunday also until midnight the no-less splendid Sextet of Mr Březovský.’ Most likely the ensemble continued performing at this venue throughout the rest of the season on this day of the week. The advertisement was repeated in the newspaper on 9/11/1854.
