The Vergnügungsanzeiger of Mercy’s Anzeiger 22/10/1854 reported ‘Today Sunday... in Buresch’s Coffee house (Dominikanergasse [Dominikánská ulice])... Concert’ An advertisement published in Mercy’s Anzeiger 6/10/1854 drew attention to the performance on Sundays at this venue of Březovský’s Sextet. The source announced: ‘In the newly renovated Cafe of Jan Bureš [Kaffee des Johann Buresch], in Dominikánské ulici, plays on Friday from 4pm until midnight the excellent Sextet of Mr Černý, and on Sunday also until midnight the no-less splendid Sextet of Mr Březovský.’ The advertisement, signed by Buresch [Bureš], drew attention to the whole of the venue having been most tastefully renovated.
