Details of this event, its date, time, venue and outline of the works to be performed were published by Národní listy 22/3/1862. Prager Morgenpost 22/3/1862 also published news of this event, reporting that ‘Sunday 23rd of this month at 11 o'clock in St. James church will be performed under the direction of choirmaster Mr Proška Tůma’s G major Mass with interpolations by Brixi (G minor) and Michael Haydn (C minor).’ Brixi was almost certainly František Xaver Brixi.
