This source noted the date, time, venue of the concert, the benefiting cause, and listed the programme in performance order and the participants. This was followed by a brief comment upon the Humanitarian Musical Society founded by Müller. The correspondent noted that the institute was currently expanding, supporting more than 56 pupils in the study of music. From the benefit cause of the concert a very numerous audience was expected and a large profit in aid of the Society’s work. A poem was to be performed following the opening work by Beethoven.
