Mercy’s Anzeiger 17/2/1857 reported that ‘On Carnival Monday [Faschingsmontag - the day before Shrove Tuesday], the dance teacher Mr Tolde arranges a festival reunion in the Apollo Hall.’ No further details were given by the source.

An advertisement was published by Mercy’s Anzeiger 17/2/1857 announcing: ‘Invitation to Tolde’s Festival Reunion which takes place on Carnival Monday 23rd February in the Apollo Hall. Commencing 8pm. Franz Tolde, dance teacher, resident Karolinenthal [Karlín] nr.17’. The advertisement was repeated in the newspaper on 18th, 22nd and 23/2/1857.

Mercy’s Anzeiger 17/2/1857 and 18/2/1857, also published an erratum that this event was taking place on 23rd and not on 18th as had previously been advertised.

The Vergnügungsanzeiger of Mercy’s Anzeiger 23/2/1857 reported ‘Today Monday... Apollo Hall: Ball.’
