Bohemia 18/9/1851 reported that on St Ludmila’s day, 16th September, the bells of the church of St George on Hradčany would be rung for the first time in 70 years. A high mass would be celebrated in the church and the new organ that had been installed there would be also played for the first time. The text related that both organ and bells ‘had been acquired through the diligence of Pastor Krbec, the rector at St George’s church.’
