Commentary:

Reports of this event were published only after the performance had taken place. News appeared in Prager Morgenpost 13/1/1860 that ‘The talented pianist Miss Božena Svoboda, a pupil of Alex. Dreyschock, ... [was granted] the high privilege last Monday to perform a court concert at which His Majesty [the Emperor Ferdinand] was present.’ After listing what Svoboda played the text also related that participating too was the singer Miss Ch. von Tiefensee and the clarinetist Pisařovic. Prager Zeitung 12/1/1860 reported that ‘Miss Charlotte Fischer von Tiefensee had the honour, besides Mr Pisařowitz and the pianist Miss Swoboda on Monday in the apartments of His Majesty the Kaiser Ferdinand to give a court concert, performing several arias and songs.’

The programme listed in the database record is given in order corresponding with the listing of the works in the Morgenpost report. Neither specified source identified the songs performed by Tiefensee or the two clarinet pieces given by Pisařovic.
