Národní listy 12/4/1863 reported in its section of daily news that the ‘Second Tradesmen’s declamatory, singing and musical beseda in benefit of the Industrial Museum will take place on 19th April in Žofín Island Hall.’ The correspondent expressed a wish that the attendance would be more numerous than that of the first beseda given for this cause. Prague tradesmen’s awareness of the importance of the Industrial Museum would be demonstrated, considered the correspondent, by their numerous attendance. A week following this first report, Národní listy 19/4/1863 published in its section of daily news the programme to the event: ‘Programme to the second Tradesmen’s declamatory, singing and musical beseda arranged to benefit the Industrial Museum on 19th April 1863 in Žofín Island Hall. 1. Škroup, and the Potpourri most likely by Slavík.
