Commentary:

Prager Morgenpost 23/1/1863 published an advertisement announcing this event which noted: ‘„Hotel de Saxe.“ Today Friday, under the personal direction of the Kapellmeister, Komzak’s [Komzák] large Orchestra, At 9 o’clock great Potpourri.’ The reference ‘Um 9 Uhr grosses Potourri’ most likely referred to the performance of a favourite Potpourri by Komzák rather than alluding to the time the event began.
