An advertisement was published by Prager Morgenpost 9/11/1862 announcing ‘Today plays a favourite Sextet in the Café-Salon at the White Indian, Zeltnergasse [Celetná ulice], 1st floor, opposite Café Schäde. The venue today as well as each following Sunday and Wednesday is open during the night.’ No further details of this event were given by the source. The announcement that the venue was open throughout the night on two days each week obviously constituted an attempt to attract clientelle and to distinguish the coffee house from other similar local establishments.
