Kommentar:

Advance news of this event noting its date, time, venue and the works to be performed were published by Národní listy 30/5/1862 and Dalibor 1/6/1862. The deceased members included the Academy’s teacher of singing, Josef Holub. The Národní listy report also noted that a rehearsal for this service was to take place on 30/5/1862 at 5pm. Although the conductor of the performance was not specified by the sources, this would have most probably been J.L. Zvonař, then the Žofín Academy’s director.
