Prager Morgenpost 5/4/1862 reported that ‘Mr Joseph Krejčí, director of the Organist’s School and director of the choir at the Church of the Knights of the Cross brings for performance on the 5th Sunday in Lent at 9am his great vocal Mass in F minor for four solo mixed voices and chorus, with two interpolations also of his own composition.’ A substantial review, signed ‘-ý.’ of this event, including an evaluation of Krejčí as a church-music composer was published by Prager Morgenpost 16/4/1862.
