An advertisement to this event was published by Mercy’s Anzeiger on both 21/3/1857 and 22/3/1857 noting: ‘Sunday 22nd March takes place in the Apollo Hall a great Concert-Soirée combined with Optical Cloud-Pictures [optischen Nebelbildern] in an entirely new arrangement, in which in the last part will perform the Indian Juggler “Young”. Commences at 6 o’clock. Admission 10kr.’ No further details were given by this source. The Vergnügungsanzeiger of Mercy’s Anzeiger 22/3/1857 noted: ‘Today Sunday:..Apollo Hall: Cloud-pictures [Nebelbilder]’, but gave no indication of the event having a musical element.
