Prager Zeitung 28/7/1861, Národní listy 28/7/1861 and Čas 29/7/1861 published an identical report [in German and Czech respectively] announcing the examinations for pupils of the Žofín Academy that would take place on 30th and 31st July. The text reported that on Tuesday 30th the examinations would begin with first-year piano pupils from 9am to 11am, and then second-year piano pupils from 3pm until 6pm. On Wednesday 31st there would take place from 9am until 1pm examinations for pupils of the two singing classes. The source concluded by noting that admission for new pupils in song and piano would take place on 16th August, and prospective pupils should apply to the offices of the Academy.
