Mercy’s Anzeiger 26/2/1854 published an advertisement for this ‘public ball’ taking place ‘in the renovated, lit with gas and elegantly decorated Apollo Hall [Saale zum Apollo].’ The text was undersigned by Johann Stuchly. Admission tickets for gentlemen with lady partners cost 30kr in advance and 36kr at the door. Admission for gentlemen without partners was 20kr in advance or 24kr at the door.
