Tagesbote aus Böhmen 2/4/1854 reported that the young virtuoso Bertha Brousil [Brousilová] by popular demand was giving a concert on 23th April in the Konvikt Hall. She was noted to be performing a Concertstück by Vieuxtemps. No further details of the event were given by the source. On 9/5/1854 Tagesbote published a review of a later concert given by Brousilová on 6th May, describing it as her second concert and therefore intimating that an earlier event had recently taken place.
