No further details were given by the Prager Morgenpost advertisement which although published on 19/10/1858 was clearly intended to have appeared in the newspaper on 17/10/1858 as the text stated that the event was to take place ‘morgen Montag’ [tomorrow Monday]. Tolde was at this time the dance master of the Estates Theatre. A week earlier Morgenpost 10/10/1858 carried a similar advertisement for a Tolde Dance reunion on 11/10/1858. The Tageskalendar published in Bohemia 11/10/1858 noted the appearance of Walesch’s Orchestra in a dance entertainment in the Konvikt Hall, undoubtedly referring to this same event. Therefore we may reasonably assume that the same ensemble appeared on 18/10/1858.
