The Tagesanzeiger texts published by Bohemia 26/9/1850 and 27/9/1850 related that performances of Harmoniemusik were to be given on Žofín Island and in the Arboretum [Stromovka] during the afternoon of Saturday 28th September. No further details of the events were noted by the newspaper sources. The date was also specified as the Prague Kirchweihfest, the annual autumn church festival. Although the event was not stated to be a specific part of the festival, the entertainment was probably given with the festival in mind; whereas previously during September Harmoniemusik was advertised as being given only once a week in the Arboretum, an entertainment took place too at both the Arboretum and on Žofín Island on Saturday, the following day.
