Bohemia 14/11/1857 published news that ‘Today, on the 10th anniversary of the death of Joseph Jungmann, will be given in the St Clement Church at 11am a solemn Requiem for the deceased, at which Messrs Strakaty, Emminger, Lukes and Král will participant and the choir director Mr Krejčí will direct the music.’

Tagesbote aus Böhmen 15/11/1857 reported that ‘At yesterday’s Requiem mass for Jos. Jungmann participated an excellent chorus under the direction of choral director Mr Krejčí. Messrs Lukes, Strakatý and Emminger took the solo parts.’
