The report noted: ‘At the Concert of the Society for Education in Military Music, that is taking place on Sunday 9th August in the Garden of the Žofín Island at 12 noon, the following pieces will be performed: 1. Overture to the opera „Jessonda“  by L. Spohr. 2. Duo Concertante for the flügelhorn and euphonium by Pilat, performed by pupils F. Mareczek [Mareček] and P. Wusching. 3. First and second movements from the 5th C minor Sonata by L. van Beethoven, orchestrated by the Society pupil M. Zimmermann. 4. Concert-Variations for the flügelhorn by Resniczek [Řezníček], performed by the Society pupil J. Reichert. and 5. first [act] Finale from the opera „Tannhäuser“ by R. Wagner, orchestrated by M.
