Kommentar:

Prager Morgenpost 21/3/1863 reported that ‘Upon many-sided requests from the public as a result of the accomplishments of the Asiatic Fire-king Mr Mattulat, whose performance in the Konvikt Hall last Saturday found great approbation, Mr Bendel has obligingly arranged for tomorrow in the aforementioned Hall a festival amusement from which the receipts are assigned to the same [i.e. Mr Mattulat]. Mr Mattulat will be performing here [in Prague] for the final time before his departure. With this festival is combined too a Musical Soirée of the Royal Infantry Regiment of King Wilhelm I. of Prussia.’ The newspaper source seemingly mis-reported the artist’s name as ‘Muttalot’ instead of ‘Mattulat’.

An advertisement for this event was published by Prager Morgenpost 22/03/1863. The source referred to Mattulat as ‘Herr Pluto’, obviously an imaginative stage name:

Konvikt Hall.
Today

The Czech-language newspaper Národní listy 22/3/1863 also published an advertisement for this event, billing it as a benefit performance for Mattulat:
