Private piano institute founded and directed by Čeněk Micko, who also owned and managed an important repository for pianos in Prague. Dalibor 10/8/1860 noted that Micko had recently gained the permission of the authorities to found the school, and its activities seem to have commenced in the autumn of 1860. The school was located at Mikálská ulice nr.432-I. Public performance examinations for its pupils were held annually at the end of June.
